Bramble & Briar is Whitney's corner of the woods for original art, hand-painted ghosts, peculiar monsters, and strange little creatures with stories of their own. Every piece begins as an original idea and ends up with a name, a mood, and usually a tiny bit of trouble.

What happens here

Whitney makes art where nostalgia, folklore, cuteness, and the delightfully eerie meet. You will find original paintings, prints, stickers, Monster Mail, coloring pages, and seasonal surprises that tend to collect around Halloween. Her love of history belongs here too, in the stories and studio notes that will keep unfolding alongside the art.

About adoption

Creature adoption is one playful part of the studio. Adopt-a-Ghost originals and small drops give each one the chance to find the person who recognizes something familiar in its expression. There is no rush: Whitney only shares a piece when it is ready, and every listing tells you exactly what it is.
